Web Blinds
Main Renovation complete – time for the windows to be dressed so a combination of curtains and blinds will be needed and lots of them.
Well I am very excited now that the Moulin in France is about to furnished, after 8 long years we have finished the exterior and there is a lasting satisfaction to be enjoyed from this total rebuild and rennovation.
The Mill is 16c and has the millrace running through the middle of the building, it looks amazing now and we have the prospect of how best to furnish the interior. One of the biggest aspects of this will be the windows, curtains will be used in some areas but for example in the kitchen we have some huge windows that will need blinds.
Of course it would make sense to use a company I trust and one that I have used before, we will have to purchase our blinds in the UK and then take them down to the mill in La Rochelle to fit them.
Before Renovation

There are a whole sweep of windows in the huge kitchen roof too and more windows along the elevated wooden walkway. It will cost a reasonable amount of money but we are planning to spend a lot of time in the mill over the coming years and so quality is more important.
After Renovation

Therefore we decided to contact Web-blinds.com they have a fantastic range and I have used them before in my last house so I know their blinds products are great.
Here is a close up picture of just a couple of windows in the mill, in all we have 34 windows in the building!!!
Windows Close Up

I suppose the cost will be a factor so I am hoping our budget prediction will tuen out to be accurate, a large number of blinds – some of them very big in dimension – will not come cheap from anywhere so if we have got it wrong we will have to schedule the job in stages.

Great post I must say.. Straightforward but nevertheless entertaining and participating liked reading this post, I have used Web Blinds before and the product was really high quality, web blinds replaced my old conservatory blinds and the online service and help was top class – thank you web blinds!
