When you are the boss you go to work even when you feel like crap, with a lost voice and a respiratory system that resembles the Meekong Delta in rainy season my two teleconferences today will be interesting.
Of course being a martyr with manflu sets a good example to my teams as they see somebody who is committed even when under the weather, it also allows me to raise my eyebrow if team members are pulling a sicky and are not that sick lol.
That said I wish I were on the sofa watching something engrossing on Blu-ray and getting my children (its half term) to bring me lots of tea and coffee.
On a plus point the Toys and Learning site has moved 12 places to mid page 3 for childrens toys which is our first target generic search term and thats without the CSS being improved and the new content and meta information, that all goes in this afternoon and so come Monday I am hoping for a bit of momentum.
Of course the first page is populated by ELC who are a BMM client and have copious links from Mothercare who are part of the same retail group but lets see what a minnow can do in the Ocean that is Google results.
Must get back to real time activity now and look like death so I get lots of sympathy.
