Well there has been a toolbar PR export for sure as my new blog (nearly new) now has a toolbar PR of 2 lol, well thats been accrued with no link activity on my behalf that’s for sure.
I guessed that some progress had been made as this blog started turning up on page one for my own name – yes I know – so what? Of course it should but there is quite a bit of information regarding Shaun Parker, in fact there are many Shaun Parker’s from what I can see and some of them quite famous.
I see today that I am also now in position two for that term and some of my blog posts are showing up in search as well, what does this mean???? Well I guess I had better be careful about what I write for a start as I know of one competitor search that now turns up my blog page that references them 
Life is busy here at High Position currently, the acquisition of new clients has sent us on another recruitment drive and new processes are being implemented to make us more efficient. There is a strong rumour that we may be doing something big in Italy and a two day trip is now scheduled for early July!!
I notice there is still a lot of activity and flux in search and most of it seems to be attributed to link popularity and the influence inbound links have on websites, I believe this is attributed to a change in Google’s system and additional factors are influencing that centre around paid linking.
We have a pretty broad spectrum of techniques for generating inbound links, much of it focuses on natural activity that is driven by the high quality content our copywriters produce. This means we are pretty unaffected and the clients that are seeing flux are at the small end and who dabble themselves in link building.
It was sad to see the passing of Michael Jackson. I saw him in concert at Wembley many years ago on the Thriller tour and he was a true showman, I do not have any views on his private life as only those involved know what is real and what is not. He was eccentric and did eccentric things but then also lived in an unreal world from a very early age. I hope he is now at peace. RIP MJ.
