The new hog roast hire business is going from strength to strength with now 9 bookings across Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk after only a couple of weeks of marketing. With a little Adwords help we are averaging 55 real visits a day with at least two or three genuine enquiries for hog roast hire services.
One new aspect is the need for vegetarian options at some of these events and so to ensure we can do this effectively we are now running two machines at each hog roast event that needs to cater for vegetarians. That way we can make sure that our customers will not suffer from cross pollination from meat to vegetarian cuisine.
This is where learning a business is vital and listening to what people want and then finding a way to provide it in a solid and professional manner will increase business and recommendations and repeat business. If you think about it Parkers Hog Roast entered the season late and yet not only are we doubling up on bookings (using timing and location) we are also now taking bookings for September.
This is really great news as it means our return on investment will cover all our equipment in the first 4 months fromthe inception of the business.
Not a bad start for a new business in a recession.
As ever it is the marketing that is the life blood of the success and this is where we have an unfair advantage- we already occupy a large amount of page 1 real estate and are set for more.
The generic hog roast terms are most definately getting close to page one and as soon as we are there we will be going after outside catering terms. It is very satisfying to see a young man succeeding albeit with guidance when the country is in recession, it bodes very well for the future.
