My Friend Si Chivers has qualified as a personal fitness trainer and I wish him all the best, I remember Si growing up with my own boys and was a true friend to them. Who knows where the time goes but it seems like only yesterday they were all playing footy in the street!!
Today Si Chivers is setting up his own business, he is the epitome of a fitness instructor and is also clever which will give him an edge in business. It will not be easy for him though, starting from scratch never is.
I will endeavor to short cut him through the marketing maze and mentor him to understand the best way to push for new clients in the digital world. It is without doubt that Si will need to focus on a sector of society that is very busy, this means presenting himself to people using the net and tapping into new channels such as social media as well as Google itself.
Lets watch this space and see if si can get a good business going with momentum and growth, I will assist from the digital side and ensure his outlay is low, this is important as Si may well find it takes time to get profile and therefore customre and clients.
