Simon Chivers Fitness Instructor
This is a short interview with Simon Chivers and his work as a fitness trainer, I was interested to hear whether there were certain factors that held his new business back so I conducted a question and answer session.
- Shaun Asks – Simon do you think your age will hold you back with potential clients after all you are only 20?
- Simon Replies – Possibly, it could be that people are concerned that I may have less experience but one strength is that I will connect well with younger people.
- Shaun Asks – Does that mean the older generation will be a target market when you are more experienced?
- Simon replied – I think that being fresh will bring new and innovative fitness training ideas to all age groups and genders.
- Shaun Asks – What do you find most daunting about starting the new fitness training business?
- Simon Replied – Marketing my name and what I do will take time and patience and I am eager to see as many people as I can to build up a solid client base.
- Shaun Asks – What made you want to be a personal fitness trainer?
- Simon Replied – I have always been interested in fitness training, nutrition and meeting people so it seemed like the most logical way to go, doing something I love for a living.
- Shaun Asks – Will you be willing to travel all around Essex?
- Simon Replied – Definately, I am a very mobile person and in the early days I will have to travel longer distances between clients until I can group appointments to locations or districts.
- Shaun Asks – How often do you train yourself?
- Simon Replied – I train 6 days a week with a combination of endurance and strength training.
- Shaun Asks – What training will you offer potential clients?
- Simon Replied – I will look at their needs, it could be cardio vascular, could be strength and body mass, could be stretching and of course fitness testing, each client will have different needs and goals, its my aim to help them achieve those.
Thank you for your time coming in today Simon, I wish you all the best with your new business and will keep tabs on your progress.

Hello again – no worries if I have the wrong person, in 99% probability I do
but if you could let me know for sure that’d put my mind at rest. No need to post the comment just a quick reply would be great so I know you got the message. In case you didn’t get the first comment it was just to enquire if this Simon is mixed race, if not I’m obviously on the wrong track
All the best.
Amazing! Not clear for me, what more does he do in the world of fitness??
