Digital Entrepreneur Award for Shaun Parker

When yours truly and my business partner Steve Dart won the prestigious DE award we were over the moon, the Digital Entrepreneur of the year award was presented in a glittering night in Manchester among some of the industry’s leading lights including Wonga.com and previous award category winners include the likes of Henlys Clothing and Sainsburys.

Shaun Parker and Steve Dart have led their company from 3 people to the current headcount of 42 and have maintained their drive at the forefront of web development and marketing for many years. There was a line of heavyweights featured for this award and so for the HP Group to win it outright is an amazing achievement and the names of Shaun Parker and Steve Dart will now go down in history alongside the other prestigious winners.

The award was won through a combination of factors, to excel in a number of core fields within web development and to incorporate innovative website design, website functionality, applications and features especially in areas such as mobile, in addition there is the all important marketing element so high performance in search results and especially Google was a determining factor for the judges.

Its a feeling of great satisfaction for myself and Steve and we have proved that coming from non technical backgrounds you can apply yourself and create something special. Of course you need to have great people around you to do great things and we have a very talented team of people here at the HP Group without whom none of this would be achieved.
