A trip down memory lane with Matt Cutts
Well it brought back a lot of nostalgia, there I was playing around with an old PC looking for some aged pics of when I looked a bit younger (holding a very large specimen Pike in Ireland by the way) and I happened to check out some old bookmarks, there was one that related to the update of Googles (or Matt Cutts) Big Daddy.
I read it a couple of times and then many of the comments, it made compelling and facinating reading, it took me back to the old days of hysteria in the industry, of monthly updates and datacentre monitoring.
It was a turbulent time for many people and at times for me too, now I am looking for an older machine, after so long in the industry of SEO I have a whole library of our heritage, an older machine with a link or bookmark to Florida…. if there was one back then… now that would be really something, for me that was the 2012 of updates, a digital tidalwave of destruction that preceded the push of adwords (Matt might think thats a bit cynical though).
Anyways, it is compelling reading thats for sure, now what about this old ‘Time’ pc with the green logo…….
