Lady Annes Hotel
Just back from a break from work after spending time up in the city of York touring and residing at the very lovely Lady Annes Hotel.
Before my stay I looked at a number of hotels in York and Lady Annes appealed to me as I love the concept of old England. It was enough just to enjoy the history and architecture with a really great sense of atmosphere, the courtyard was fab and then add to that the background of six listed buildings then the hotel had already delivered before anything else.
Lady Annes York Hotel
York is a wonderful city with enough to see and do to last a week let alone a long weekend, I still found time to swim in the pool and I also got a morning in the gym so it mediated some of the glorious food I consumed during my days out in York.
It was easy to relax and forget the hustle and bustle of York city which is just metres away and especially in the lovely courtyard you felt you could be miles out in the country. Lady Annes hotel gives you all the sense of a country hotel but with the benefit of just walking out into York itself whenever you want to. Whilst it may seem an obvious benefit to have it was really great to be able to park my car safely and easily too.
If you head to York anytime soon then seriously consider staying in the lovely old English hotel and at the same time enjoy your proximity to York city too.
