Well we just had an interesting client conversation discussing the merits of Indian Blog Spam which currently is driving some high profile search listings.
I am awaiting some kind of action from Google as surely they cannot allow Indian Blog Spammers to carry on influencing search results in the UK so prominently as they do at the moment. The blog posts themselves are simply embarressing written in a language that is unrecognisable to English.
Now don’t get me wrong as I know and recognise my grammar is not perfect and I sure as hell cannot speak or write in any other language but then I don’t sell that as a service to unscrupulous agencies who are currently deploying it on behalf of unsuspecting clients.
I am all for global business and freely accept that with the Internet you can be anywhere in the world and provide a service but I am very unhappy at the way Google is letting Indian blog spam have so much influence. As for the agencies who are subbing this out – well frankly its a poor show as they are merely gaming Google with a cheap shot that in many cases delivers complete drivel as content with more spammy comments and creaming their clients for this as a service.
OK it gets results but I hope its not for long and that Google strips the power of Indian blogger links from the system.
The question I have for myself is should I make a visual example of this approach and let people see just how bad it is and also how successful it is….
I will think about it during the week and maybe I will out one particular example that may just embarress one of our leading SEO companies??
I looked into the forum today for the first time in a while, I used to be a very regular poster helping out people who asked seo questions or who were in trouble but the time constraints caused by rapid company expansion have made this difficult.
I will be logging more regularly for a while as I have seen some interesting trends developing that involve new members posting, they are looking suspiciously like the bloggers……

Hello. Thank you for this great info! Keep up the good job!
Generally I do not post on blogs, but I would like to say that this post really forced me to do so! really nice post.
Hi Adam,
Well I am tempted for sure, its possibly the worst blog post I have seen for a leading UK brand and its one of many. The company using Indian Blog spam for linking are well known for getting their clients into trouble……
I think you should Shaun, no agency deserves to be a leading brand in the industry if they cant practice what they preach. I presume they make out to use only die-hard whitehat ethical techniques on their website?
