This is my second post made after I spent a weekend on the road with my son and his hog roast business, this time we had a hog roast hire in Southend and after a 50 minute journey we were ready to setup the gear.
Now this is the bit that I find a bit tedious, setting up all the gazebos and getting the tables sorted etc it looks really professional though when it is all together so it is definately worth the trouble. Today the weather was really good for us which was a real bonus as previously the week had been pretty poor. This was great though and sunny Southend on sea was in its full East of England glory.
The hog roast event was far busier that the one I had done with him in Ipswich, this time as soon as the pig was ready people came in droves, the hog roast was quite a bit smaller than the Ipswich one because there were fewer people here but they came back again and again, it was as if they were the hungriest people I had met.
There also charming and very complimentary which often gave them a good chance of a bigger slice of crackling 
Once again the folk of Southend were the lucky recipients of the complimentary designer cupcakes, these are really well received and I think its a great USP for Terry.
Anyway after a tiring couple of hours the hog was done and everybody bade us farwell, it was an exhausting weekend as the preparation for the hog roast was astounding, then you have several hours of cooking and then the serving, give me back my job in SEO any day.
