I had a lovely experience at my close friends 50th birthday party where the high quality catering was supplied by – Parkers Hog Roast Essex.
After a lazy afternoon chatting and having a few drinks in the sun we became aware of the most delicious smell on the breeze, an aroma that told us the hog roast was almost ready. there were 60 guests at the party and the proprietor of Parkers Hog Roast – Terry Parker had been at the venue since 9.30 am to ensure everything was set up and the hog could slow roast for most of the day.
Traditional English Garden
With pleasant music in the back ground and people milling and socialising it was the perfect English Garden Party set in Wivenhoe, Essex and amongst busy flowered borders full of riotous colour and a deep green lawns freshly cut and offering a scent of their very own.
We all busily tucked in to the Hog Roast at about 5pm and had a mixture of fresh rolls, pitta bread, salad, new potatoes and lots of Pimms. It was a lovely day and the guests were full of compliments for the chef who by the way comes with the hog roast hire!!
A Trim Up Before Carving
Late on chef also supplied us with a never ending supply of marinated ribs from the hog and we all sat round the chimenea and chatted into the night.
A big well done to Parkers Hog Roast for the perfect cuisine and service and a day that was really memorable.
