Essex Police Performance

Well I like to think I am fair in life, my biggest dislike is what I call ripoff Britain which centres around injustice and how everyday people are powerless to get justice.

That outlook transcends all walks of life, it could be something simple like Capstone Mortgages ripping their customers off or maybe something more complex such as the Essex Police section of the blog. Either way whilst I am quick to chastise I am also quick to praise, there are two events which have lifted my outlook on ripoff Britain one is a reflection on Essex Police and the other a reflection of PC World.

Essex Police were very poor in the more serious case of my daughter but with the vandalism issue on my Porsche they have been exemplary. They were approachable and easy to contact, they were efficient and despite us knowing there is no chance of catching the culprit they did make me feel that they took the issue seriously.

The statement and the evidence pictures were done with empathy too so on this occasion well done Essex Police

With PC world its a different issue, I bought 3 computers for my children for Christmas from Mesh, then 3 days before Christmas Day I finally found out why they were late, it took 5 days of frantic phonecalls before Mesh spilled the beans, they had the goods damaged in transit.

That left me just 2 days to find somebody who could supply replacements, Mesh wanted 3 weeks!!

To the rescue came PC World who pulled out all the stops to get me the machines in time for Christmas and also kept me fully informed all the way. Well done PC World!!
