Its now getting close to go live with Duchess Cupcakes and we are really excited as many of the competitors in the world of cupcakes have poor quality products that really don’t inspire.
The new site is still in development but I am atthe point where I am happy for search engine spiders to enter the site and start the ageing process. There are a couple of 404 links but this is not too much of an issue at the moment.
The cupcake website is full of good content but only 12 products have been entered, the main push will be about another 60 cake and cupcake designs. Of course in a years time we will have many many more cupcakes available for choice on the e-commerce platform at Duchess but they need to be made and photographed to create the product listings.
Still I can start to work on the SEO for the site and especially the inbound linking so that we can get our initial landing point, I am not expecting it to be too high as the domain is brand new.
Lets see where it goes, by the way ignore the visual design at the moment as this will be changing soon and the template clour and logo was just a starter.
