Well it was always on the cards I guess, having a lovely 996 Turbo S on the drive was always going to attract attention and sometimes its the wrong sort.
2009 was drawing into its last gasps when I had my lovely car vandalised with a chisel, its a sad but expected turn of events in todays world. Of course I turned to my good friends from the covert security world and they came over the next day to help out. This time is was not the close protection service that they specialise in it was their surveillance skills I needed.
You see the vandals merely caused a bit of inconvenience as the car is well insured with protected no claims, Porsche will pick it up and then deleiver it when its finished and will valet the car whilst they are at it. Once done the car will be back home but this time I have eyes and ears everywhere and I am prepared should such an eventĀ happen again.
I guess the question is was it a random act or does somebody not like me (hard to believe I recon), it was late at night but then it wasn’t just a scratch it was a significant event and took more than just a few seconds.
Time will tell I guess but my close protection buddies may well be able to provide another service to me if and when it happens again.
