Clinic or Audit – Plus SEO Cheating

Well I am now awaiting for my first patient lol.

It could be that I never get one of course since I rarely get visitors here but at some point somebody will want either a site audit or some advice in the clinic and I will then feel wanted

The SEO day today has been quiet with a concentration on content for some of the larger clients, Google is still in flux but some of the more generic search terms have settled back to where they should be.

It looks to me as though there is a tweak on the duplication filters which has had a bearing on one of our major sites and some smaller ones. Predominantly I have spotted trubulence where the homepage has been replicated inadvertantly by poor webmaster practice.

there seems no sign of proxy hacking in these turbulent listings and once the duplicates were sorted and 301nd we expected to solve the problem, what we have found though is that a content refresh was needed before the pages came back properly.

SEO Cheating

We ourselves have been targeted by a so called UK leader in SEO who is duplicating client sites on mirrors to try and warm up domains, it is only fair that I out this practice here and so I am going to do it tomorrow and show you exactly what goes on in our industry.

The company concerned are trying to make a business at the cost of reputable people and when I have finished my blog post I will stick a link into a forum so that everybody can come and see it. It makes me sick that companies purport to be clean and professional but really are cheating and trying to undermine reputable agencies.

I just cannot wait to put this together with images and then hopefully we will see them in their true light.
